These franchises made much more contribution to this game than GuP does for WoT perhaps.Įven though I haven't tried such games yet and unlikely to have any try in the future (this game is already grindy enough for me), personally speaking I enjoy these works' character designs from an aesthetic perspective, or, as some interesting flavor applied on the historical warships built in steel in the first half of the eventful 20th Century. Also in contrast to WoT, many more players were attracted here by Arpeggio, Kancolle or Azur Lane. Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Kancolle are long-established and influential titles in the field of Warship Personification, and the former, together with the no-less-influential Azur Lane, have official collaboration events with World of Warships. I have once posted in June about a similiar topic: in contrast to the relative isolation of hard-core military enthusiasm, the Anime community is much larger and more lively. Sorry for such a late reply, as English isn't my mother tongue and it would take me some time to find the most proper English expression of certain contents corresponding Chinese language. If those franchises help to spark an interest in history, that is a good thing. You'd be surprised how many people are only here because of Arpeggio, Kancolle and Azur Lane.
